June 29, 2026 brings together one of the most dynamic astrological patterns of the year: a powerful Full Moon, Mercury stationing retrograde, Jupiter amplifying the flow of information, and Mars steadily approaching its conjunction with Uranus while activating the lunar nodal axis. Together, these alignments suggest a period of heightened awareness, rapidly unfolding events, and the possibility that important information reaches the public in unexpected ways.

In sidereal astrology, this Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Sagittarius opposite the Sun in Gemini, highlighting the axis of information and understanding. Gemini governs communication, media, commerce, transportation, documents, education, and the exchange of ideas, while Sagittarius seeks higher truth, justice, wisdom, international affairs, and the broader meaning behind events. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, which is especially powerful on this day as it stations retrograde. This retrograde period begins a time of review and reconsideration.
Full Moons often bring matters into the light. They illuminate situations that have been developing beneath the surface, marking a culmination, a turning point, or the completion of one phase before another begins.
This Full Moon carries additional weight because both the Sun and Moon are square Saturn, Neptune, and the Midheaven, creating a powerful point of tension. The Sun is also conjunct Chaos, adding an element of unpredictability and rapidly unfolding developments.
Saturn calls for accountability, responsibility, and structural reform. Neptune dissolves illusions, blurs boundaries, and can create uncertainty before greater clarity emerges. Their challenging aspects to both the Sun and Moon suggest that governments, institutions, leadership, and established systems may be tested as new information comes to light. With the Midheaven involved, many of these themes are likely to unfold on a highly visible public stage.

As mentioned above, Mercury stations retrograde during this Full Moon and is closely conjunct Jupiter. Both planets are conjunct the United States Mercury in the Sibley chart. This suggests something important may be unfolding in the United States involving communication, the media, transportation, technology, or the movement of information.
Mercury governs communication, intelligence, media, negotiations, transportation, commerce, documents, and the movement of information. Jupiter expands everything it touches, increasing the visibility and importance of Mercury's themes.
This combination often corresponds with major announcements, increased media attention, legal developments, financial discussions, or significant public conversations. Because Mercury is stationing retrograde, however, this is unlikely to represent the final chapter. Instead, it may begin a period of review, reassessment, and deeper investigation. Previously overlooked information may resurface, policies may be reconsidered, negotiations reopened, or important documents reviewed from a new perspective.
At nearly the same time, Mars is moving toward its conjunction with Uranus in Taurus while activating the lunar nodal axis. Mars represents action, military activity, fire, courage, and decisive movement. Uranus is associated with sudden change, innovation, awakening, technology, and the unexpected. Together they often correspond with breakthroughs, disruptions, technological advances, financial volatility, earth changes, earthquakes, fires, and events that alter the collective landscape with little warning. It is worth mentioning the rise in earthquakes over the past few days along with fire outbreaks around the world. This is not surprising as we are already in the shadow of the June 29th Full Moon.
Because this developing conjunction is activating the North and South Nodes, its effects may feel especially significant, accelerating societal trends that have already been building. With Taurus ruling finance, agriculture, natural resources, land, and material security, these subjects may continue to receive emphasis. Recent worldwide concerns involving farming, agriculture, food safety, and financial security reflect several of the Taurus themes receiving heightened attention at this time.
Taken together, these planetary patterns describe a period in which information, institutions, and rapidly unfolding events may intersect in meaningful ways. News may emerge that changes the direction of an ongoing story. Long-standing questions may receive new attention. Developments involving governments, financial systems, technology, scientific discovery, or international affairs could become focal points of public discussion.
The astrology suggests that June 29 may be an important activation point within a much larger collective transformation already underway.
Although the Full Moon reaches its peak on June 29, its influence is not limited to a single day. Astrologers generally observe that the energy of a Full Moon is most noticeable for several days before and after the exact lunation, with the themes often unfolding over the following two weeks, until the next New Moon begins a new cycle. Events or revelations that emerge around this Full Moon may therefore continue to develop well into July.
As always, astrology does not tell us exactly what will happen. It reveals the symbolic cycles through which life unfolds. The choices we make, individually and collectively, determine how those cycles are ultimately expressed.
If this Full Moon marks the beginning of an important collective story, the July Full Moon may reveal the next chapter. Watch for my upcoming July forecast, where we will explore how these themes continue to unfold and what the next series of planetary alignments may reveal.
